The Community Umpire Training Program is designed to train umpires in the basic concepts of umpiring including umpiring roles and responsibilities; applying the basic hockey rules; safety and enjoyment.
It is an enjoyable and straightforward training program involving an online learning session, an applied learning quiz and a practical evaluation. The program is directed towards players, parents, teachers and other new umpires who are involved in Hook in2 Hockey, modified versions of the game or lower level club hockey.
The Community Umpire training program can be accessed as an educational resource for currently accredited individuals, as well as being a training requirement for those wishing to obtain their Community Umpire Accreditation.
The Level 1 Umpire Training Program is designed to train umpires in the fundamental concepts of umpiring including fitness, positioning, signals and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of players.
It is an enjoyable and convenient training program involving an online learning session, an applied learning quiz, a 1 day practical course and a practical evaluation. The program is directed towards parents, players and umpires who are involved in umpiring club hockey, Intra-state Championships and low level National Championships.
The Level 1 Umpire training program can be accessed as an educational resource for currently accredited individuals, as well as being a training requirement for those wishing to obtain their Level 1 Umpire Accreditation.
